we are very fussy and cannot complain about anything other than the cost of the wine - all staff were fantastic - its probably the best hotel we have stayed in - a shame its a 5 hr flight away
choice of wine was poor and very expensive

Enjoyed Sharm el-Sheikh, the hotel was wonderful relaxing and extravagant in the desert. The location was beautiful and wonderful, just 5 min walk from a vibrant square. Further, it was just off the beach side Arafa, Ayman, Rafat and Arabesque restaurant where breakfast is served and the coral reef.

This hotel is world class, the rooms are spacious and clean and the grounds and gardens beautiful. We had a sea view room, near the pool and main building to reduce the amount of walking as its a big resort. Very friendly staff, who cant do enough to help. Breakfast at Sails restaurant on the beach each morning was a good find, beautiful sea views, very peaceful, the main breakfast room got a bit noisy with the amount of children in there.
The food bill at this resort really is expensive because on top of each price you see on the menu you have to add on 3 extra charges - 12.% service charge a city tax and a food and beverages service which bumps up the price a lot. Our food bill came to £800 for 5 days and we only had dinner at the hotel twice, two sandwich lunches and a few drinks here and there. I worked out our food was around £550 the charges and tax came to £250! A lot to add on if you are not expecting it. We were shocked at the cost for the amount we ate during our stay, seem to be higher than London restaurant prices. To go into the sea you have to be a competent swimmer as you have to swim off the jetty so no standing, but wasn't a problem for us.
